Took this list from Steve Hunt‘s website. You know, my advice to the other two candidates running for this nomination: You can spend ALL of the money you want, but at the end of the day, its the grassroot support that really matters. Looking at this list I see lots of successful elected officials and committee members. I’ll do my best to interview all three candidates, but from a neutral point of view, Steve Hunt is the favorite to win, I think.

That support also translated to a loss in Hunt’s last election.
Fairfax needs new energetic canditates with that are going to continue the momentum Bob McDonnell gave us.
Horinko has some baggage because of her time at the Bush administration.
Will Nance is the right man for the job.

[…] UPDATE:Steve Hunt has an impressive list of endorsements. […]

Having an endorsement from Jom Rich is troubling.

Wow that is a very thorough and bipartisan list of endorsements.
You have Jim Rich, Becky Stoekel, and Dave Albo on the one hand, and Howie Lind, Dick Black, Patricia Phillips, and Eve Barner on the other.
A number of people there wouldn’t vote for each other. Being able to pull that broad of an endorsement base is quite impressive.
Who is lining up behind the other two people? I’m not seeing anyone talking about them.

Wisconsin Democrat Paul Miller has endorsed “consevative environmentalist” Marianne Horinko.
Don’t know about Nance, but I sort of like him.

Perhaps “Not a RINO” is just uninformed or worse yet, misleading but Paul Miller is NOT a Democrat. He is on the RPV Finance Committee and to date has donated over $15,000 into Virginia State Republican activities. How much have you given “Not a RINO?” Furthermore, Paul has NOT endorsed Marianne Horinko. He is to date uninvolved as he does not live in the Senate District and thinks all three candidates are qualified. So, check your facts before you say things that are not entirely accurate.

First, I’m not going to hide behind a screen name. Somehow Not A Rhino was given some wrong information. I have NOT endorsed Marianne Horinko for State Senate. We have several top-notch candidates in this race.
Second, I have to point out I am not a Democrat as suggested. I understand the need to tear people down, but this does not help our party, but only helps the other side.
Third, I will stack up my financial and volunteer contributions to the Republican party and candidates against anyone. I don’t claim to be the Republican Activist of the Year, but I privately do my part and don’t believe it is a requirement that I run around telling you about it in order to be a part of this party.
I’m a tell it like it is person, so if anyone would like to know where I stand on anything, please do not hesitate to call me or e-mail me diretly and unless you hear it come from my lips don’t always believe what you hear.
We have to be willing to work together as a party and not fracture ourselves. That only leads to losing.

Paul is exactly on the money with this. It is typical for this attitude in the Party between the two “factions.” Conservatives going after what they perceive as “Moderates” and visa versa. This only helps to deepen the divide and get Democrats elected…Reagan believed in the 80-20 rule. This idea that we should bite our nose off to spite our face will only lead to further losses and being pushed out of the decision making process…I.E. Holding office.
